# Understanding Squid's UI

Understanding Squid's UI will help you leverage Squid's full potential right from the start. Please take a moment to understand the UI components.

# UI Sections
The Squid UI is divided into 9 functional sections. Let's discuss what each one is for.

### 1 - Websites
A list of the websites you have access to.

**All **- by clicking 'all' you will see a dashboard of all your owned and shared websites on one screen.

**My websites** - lists the websites that you are an owner of. These are the ones that you created and will be billed for usage under one of Squid's plans.

**Shared websites** - lists the websites that you have been invited to. You are not billed for these websites and usage does not count against your own websites.


### 2 - Product Documentation 
This redirects you to the Squid resource center where you can find product documentation, blogs, changelogs, etc.

### 3 - Squid Plan Information and Credit Usage
This is a real-time indicator of your usage based on your current plan across all the websites you are an owner of. 

### 4 - Ask Squid AI Search Bar
__Only available when you are inside an active website. __

Type a web analytics question in this box and Squid will use AI to provide you an answer based on your website data. [Learn more](/en/article/ask-squid-vfikvh/).

### 5 - Quick Access Icons
__Only available when you are inside an active website. __

Use these icons to quickly jump to a product feature within Squid.

**1 -** Ask Squid AI question suggestions. Use this to get an idea of what to ask in the Ask Squid text box.
**2 -** List your previous Ask Squid questions with their answers.
**3 - **Lists your configured funnels, as well as create a new funnel.
**4 -** Opens up Squid's visual labeler where you can create, edit and delete your custom event labels.
**5 -** Integrations to 3rd party products.

### 6 - Account
This is where you can see and change your Squid subscription, delete your account or log out of Squid.

### 7 - Website Information and Settings
__Only available when you are inside an active website. __

Provides important information about Squid's integration into this website.

**1 -** Your website avatar. Change this in settings (8).
**2 -** Website name. Change this in settings (8).
**3 -** Real-time status indicator on Squid's connection status to your website.
* Online - Squid is connected and receiving events.
* Offline - Squid is deployed on your website but not receiving events.
* Not Deployed - The Squid snippet i snot deployed on your website or is deployed incorrectly.
**4 -** The date in which you created this website account in Squid.
**5 -** The total number of real-time events captured and consumed by Squid. These events count towards your plan's event usage. **The events reset to zero at the start of your billing cycle.** The box is color-coded as follows:
* Purple - No events being captured. 
* Green - Events being captured.
**6 - **The total number of AI questions made either through the Ask Squid bar (#4 in this article) or by running the 'Ask' at the bottom of one of the chart's where this functionality is included.
**7 -** Lists user profiles. User profiles are created once a known user is captured via email address, via a Squid plug-in with the identity setting checked, or called via the Squid identify API.
**8 -** Your website settings. This is not your global account setting. They apply specifically to this website configuration.

### 8 - Analytics Key Metrics and Filtering
__Only available when you are inside an active website. __

This section displays key metrics regarding the traffic Squid has captured on your website.

### 9 - Analytics Charts, UTMs, and Funnels
__Only available when you are inside an active website. __
