Clay

Connect Squid to Clay for instant notifications from Squid's VisitorID, letting you know who's on your website in real time. VisitorID transforms anonymous visitors into identifiable users, enabling you to retarget them effectively and capture more revenue.

Setup Squid Clay Connector

In the Squid UI, go to the website you'd like to configure this Clay integration for. If you have multiple sites configured within Squid, you will need to setup a connection separately for each site.

Open 'My Connections'. You can find this in the top right menu bar under the plug icon.

Under 'Notifications', choose "Clay"

The Clay dialog window will appear.

Copy your webhook URL from Clay and paste it in the Post area.

Send a test event to Clay to make sure the webhook URL is working.

You can see what Squid will be sending to Clay in the Clay Webhook Object window.

Enable and disable the properties you want to send.

Not all properties are sent by default and some require Squid support to enable for your account. If you'd like these additional properties, please let us know. Some additional data charges may apply.

Click "Save".

To disconnect the Clay integration, just go back to the connectors section within your Squid dashboard, choose Clay, and click "Delete".

Congratulations! You will now start receiving Visitor profile data inside your Clay table when VisitorID identifies an anonymous user.
