Rudderstack

Connect Squid to Rudderstack to stream real-time user activity.


Squid does not send VisitorID profiles to Rudderstack. This integration only supports streaming the following elements:User Page ViewsUser ClicksForm SubmitsUser Scroll depthUser Network Activity (from browser)User Web Page Performance (shows the interactive load time of the user's browser and script performance)User Connection and Disconnection



Setup Rudderstack Connector


  1. In the Squid UI, go to the website you'd like to configure this Rudderstack integration for. If you have multiple sites configured within Squid, you will need to setup a connection separately for each site.


  1. Open 'My Connections'. You can find this in the top right menu bar under the plug icon.



  1. Under 'Destinations', choose "Rudderstack"


  1. Enter the Rudderstack writeKey and dataPlaneURL in the form field.



  1. Choose which events you would like to stream. Dark purple is enabled. White is disabled.


The icons represent the following (order left to right): Clicks, Form Submits, Session Disconnects, Page Views, Network Activity, Performance, Scrolls


  1. Choose "Save"


Congratulations! You will now start receiving events in Rudderstack.
