Website Connection Issues

If you have deployed the Squid snippet, but you do not see your website connecting, please try the following troubleshooting steps.

1. Check for errors

a. Go to your website's home page.

b. Open up your browsers developers tools. Here’s a list of the shortcut keys to open developer tools (DevTools) in major browsers on both Windows and macOS:

Google Chrome
- Windows: Ctrl + Shift + I or F12
- Mac: Cmd + Option + I

Mozilla Firefox
- Windows: Ctrl + Shift + I or F12
- Mac: Cmd + Option + I or Cmd + Shift + I

Microsoft Edge
- Windows: Ctrl + Shift + I or F12
- Mac: Cmd + Option + I

Apple Safari
- Windows: Safari is not available on Windows.
- Mac: Cmd + Option + I
- Note: In Safari, you need to enable the "Develop" menu first by going to Safari > Settings (or Preferences) > Advanced and checking "Show Develop menu in menu bar".

Opera
- Windows: Ctrl + Shift + I
- Mac: Cmd + Option + I

Brave Browser
- Windows: Ctrl + Shift + I or F12
- Mac: Cmd + Option + I

Internet Explorer
- Windows: F12
- Mac: Internet Explorer is not available on macOS.

Vivaldi
- Windows: Ctrl + Shift + I
- Mac: Cmd + Option + I

In most browsers, pressing Ctrl + Shift + J (Windows) or Cmd + Option + J (Mac) opens the Console tab directly within DevTools.
In Internet Explorer and Edge, F12 opens the developer tools and also acts as a toggle to close them.
These shortcuts are consistent across most versions of these browsers, but it's always a good idea to check the browser’s official documentation or settings if the shortcut does not work as expected.

c. Reload/refresh your webpage by clicking the refresh icon. It loos like this on most browsers.
