Reporting

📊 Reports

Squid offers two types of automated reports to help you stay on top of traffic trends and identify visitors with ease:

1. Daily VisitorID Report

Get a daily snapshot of all identified website visitors — for every website under your account.

- Where to find it:
Go to Settings (located on your main Squid dashboard) → Email reports

VisitorID Daily Report

- Who receives it:
Add recipients by clicking the ✏️ icon, or remove them with 🗑️. You can add anyone you want.
- Global toggle:
Use the switch at the top of the Daily VisitorID box to enable or disable the report entirely.

2. Weekly Recap Report (Traffic Report)

A high-level summary of visitor traffic and engagement — delivered every Monday morning.

Weekly Recap Traffic Report

- Customizable:
Use the Customize Template button to change the logo, colors, and text.
- Flexible delivery:
Add/remove recipients just like with the Daily report.

🔧 Centralized Reporting for Multi-Site Accounts

If you're managing many websites (e.g. 5+), separate emails can become noisy. Squid gives account owners the ability to streamline reporting:

- Go to:
Profile → Account Settings → Reporting

Account Reporting

- Two toggle options:
- Separate Emails (default): Sends individual CSV reports per website to account owner. Disable to stop sending individual emails.
- Centralized File: Combines all reports into one Excel file with separate tabs for each website.

Account Reporting Settings

🔒 Only the Account Owner can adjust these settings. These settings ONLY apply to the account owner.

Note: Other recipients will still receive their reports unless removed from the email list.
