How to Invite a Website Super User

Overview



Sharing a website within Squid allows you to share, with others, your website's analytics and other relevant data like VisitorID. This guide will walk you through the steps to share a website, ensuring that your colleagues or team members can access and view the necessary information.

This guide details how to invite Website Super Users. If you'd like to invite an Account Admin, please refer to this guide.

Steps to Share a Website within Squid



Step 1: Log in to Squid



Open your web browser and navigate to the Squid login page (https://app.asksquid.ai).
Enter your credentials.
Click on the "Login" button.

There are 2 ways to quickly share your website to others:

(A) Directly from the dashboard card, or
(B) From within the website container.

Option A: From the website dashboard card.



Once logged in, go to the dashboard.
Locate and click on the "All" menu item under "Websites" in the left-hand window pane. NOTE: depending on your setup, you might already be at this screen.
Under "My personal websites" you will see all the websites you are the owner of. If you have been invited to any websites you will see them listed under "Invited websites". You have the rights to share with others any websites that you see on your dashboard.
Click the 'share' icon on the bottom right of the card.

In the sharing settings, you will see an option to add email addresses. NOTE: These users will get an email invite asking them to join.
Enter the email addresses of the users you want to share the website with. You can add multiple email addresses by clicking ENTER after each one.
Once shared the shared people indicator on the card with turn dark purple alerting you that this website has been shared with others.
If you'd like delete a user, just click the trash can icon.

Please note that each user will have Super User access and be able to do all functions within your Squid account EXCEPT billing, deleting the account, and adding/removing additional websites. If the user needs privileges to add/delete website within your account, please invite them as an Account Admin.
Each user will have their own view for VisitorID and be able to pin profiles uniquely.



Option B: From the website container.



Once logged in, go to the dashboard.
Locate and click on the "All" menu item under "Websites" in the left-hand window pane. NOTE: depending on your setup, you might already be at this screen.
Under "My personal websites" you will see all the websites you are the owner of. If you have been invited to any websites you will see them listed under "Invited websites". You have the rights to share with others any websites that you see on your dashboard.
Click on the card to view that website's dashboard.
On the dashboard control menu, you will see a 'purple' share button. Click it.

If you'd like delete a user, just click the trash can icon.
